This course is designed for those who wish to take part in club racing in good weather conditions. It is assumed that you will have already mastered the practical skills and absorbed the back ground knowledge required for RYA Level 2 Basic Skills. The course involves a range of enjoyable exercises designed to increase and build on your confidence, knowledge and improve skills through practice. The course consists of choosing the right boat for you, boat preparation for racing, start sequences and courses, boat handling and tuning, race strategies and tactics.  All sessions will run from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
