All courses cover the subjects detailed in the RYA syllabus, start at 9.00am and involve practical boat handling skills at sea. Power boating is less strenuous than sailing and because you are travelling faster it is easy to get cold, therefore please make sure you have adequate and appropriate clothing to go afloat.

This course is the next step to learning the background knowledge and essentials skills to becoming a competent powerboat driver. The syllabus includes high speed handling, coming alongside, man overboard recovery and collision regulations. Level 2 is a basic requirement for hiring a power boat or taking your boat abroad.
